It was a good ride. Can’t deny it, but…
It definitely takes time to get used to using Neovim with a really good configuration in a truly productive environment. You can tailor so many things in a configuration that it was overwhelming for me. It was truly overwhelming.
Also, I have to admit two things:
I am not used to spending so much time customizing a code editor. I want to get in on the hype of using AI assistants. I know that this could be achieved with Neovim, no doubt, but I have to admit that I don’t want to invest the time in setting it up. So, I’m going to come back to using Zed…
Zed has some out-of-the-box integrations that I’m interested in. I believe the learning curve is lower, and the productivity level I may end up achieving will be higher.
